KISS, an acronym for Keep It Simple, Stupid. The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design, and unnecessary complexity should be avoided.
The GenX harness was designed on this basis, first introduced by the manufacturer, ‘Quincysdogs’ some 10 years ago and in all that time has not changed throughout. The GenX harness is a well-made harness that has the comfort, practicality and mobility of the dog at heart… just as importantly, ease of use for the handler.
Its designed so that it is excellent for not only walking active dogs but is perfect for older dogs as well as pre or post surgery dogs. This is achieved by the handler offering support to the dog using the handles. Invaluable for aiding your dog up the stairs, or, in and out of the car.
The interior has been designed to be breathable, allowing the harness to be left on the dog for longer periods with only two clips to fasten. There are also comforter pads surrounding all the webbing straps across the chest, belly and neck areas to avoid chafing and these comforters also helps to allow for weight distribution and stops the straps digging into the relevant areas.
